AB 041 – Sitting Diana Mudra Buddha Statue

The Dhyana mudra is in meditation posture, also called “samadi” Or “yoga” pose. In this is the posture of meditation or concentration (samadi) on the Dharma and of the attainments of spiritual perfection the Buddha’s gaze  is serene, sitting the lotus position. The gesture is formed by placing the right hand over the palm of the left hand, with tips of both thumbs touching lightly, the hands represent Samsara (the world of illusions ). This Mudra symbolizes the triumph of enlightenment over the world of illusion.
